3D Printing Day Workshop – 27th May

We’re really looking forward to an exciting day packed with creativity, hands-on tech, and fun. Here’s everything you need to know:
🕘 The Day:
Start Time: 9:00 AM
Finish Time: 3:00 PM
🥪 Lunch & Breaks:
Please bring a packed lunch – we’ll take a lunch break around midday.
After lunch, we’ll get active with some sports and games in the hall (football, throwing games, etc.), so please make sure your child wears comfy clothes suitable for light activity.
🖨 What We’ll Be Doing:
Get ready for a full day of real 3D printing fun!
We’ll be using Tinkercad and other beginner-friendly 3D modelling software to design awesome creations like:
- Nameplates
- Keyrings
- Custom creatures or characters from their imagination!
After designing, kids will learn how to prepare (slice) their models for 3D printing using special slicing software.
The most exciting part? They’ll actually see their designs come to life on a 3D printer and take them home at the end of the day!
We’ll also have a selection of pre-printed 3D models ready for them to decorate and keep.
Whether your child is new to 3D design or already loves tech, this day will be a creative adventure they won’t forget.
